Safety comes first. If a skipper misses a Safety and Poise point, that attempt doesn't count and they try it again.
How to assess the Bronze Award
- Teach and practise the ten skills in PE, at a skipping club or at playtime.
- Tick each skill on the tick sheet as the pupil shows it. Skills can be ticked over as many sessions as needed: once a skill is ticked, it stays ticked.
- Finish with the link: any 8 of the 10 skills linked in one routine, without a miss or error.
- Award the certificate, then show the pupil their next challenge.
