Black Award: Expert

Suitable for Years 5 to 6. A pupil passes when they show every skill with control, on two different days.

AssessmentClass tracker, evaluation and certificates

Ropes required:

  • 1 KS2 rope per pupil (2.8 m adult rope for taller pupils) for tricks and double unders
  • 1 × 7.5 m rope for long rope moves in the group routine
  • 2 × 4.5 m ropes (one Double Dutch set) for Double Dutch

Our Double Dutch set is two 4.5 m ropes, sold as a pair, and each one works perfectly on its own as a long rope: one of them is just right for Under the Moon. The 7.5 m long rope is perfect for Wiggly Worm and for all of the long rope games. We suggest every school has at least one Double Dutch set and one 7.5 m long rope. Between them they give you everything you need for teaching, right the way from Reception to Year 6.
